“Two weeks ago, I had my first experience with fractional laser treatment at Erase Clinic, trying their new Clear + Brilliant Laser. Developed and produced by the same company that brought us Fraxel and Thermage. Prior to the treatment, having my face cleansed and topical anesthetic massaged onto my skin for 15- 20 minutes. During treatment – the black tube is actually a super cooling machine that blasts cool air to minimize discomfort during treatment. The laser felt like needles pricking on the skin, it doesn’t hurt whatsoever but I could feel my skin instantly felt very hot. Certain areas were more uncomfortable than other areas particularly closer to the hairline and forehead. I would say the whole treatment wasn’t painful it was rather bits of discomfort. We also chatted throughout the treatment process, clearly it wasn’t hurting.
