What to Expect

The process of receiving injections of BOTOX® Cosmetic or Dysport® is fast and painless. Dr. Parker may use a light topical anesthetic to ensure your comfort during treatment. Next, tiny amounts of the drug are injected into the areas you wish to treat. Within a few days of treatment, you will begin noticing that wrinkles and fine lines have softened, giving you a rested, refreshed appearance. You will see the full effect of the product in about 14 days. You can expect the effects of botulinum toxin to last three to four months. After that time, most patients decide to undergo additional treatments to continue enjoying the reduced signs of aging.
