Common errors with filler include “overfilled” cheeks, puffy tear trough filler with loss of the natural arc under the eye and lips that overwhelm or are disproportionate to the face.
Filler should enhance and recreate the natural arcs of the face. It should follow the aesthetic ideals of balance and proportion and follow the Golden Ratio of Beauty as much as possible.
Hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved and partially or completely reversed if the “look “ is not correct. As Aesthetic providers it is our responsibility to know the proper proportions of the face and to inject our patients responsibly and safely. The end result is a fresher, less tired look and an increase in confidence and self appreciation.
