I.V. THERAPY

I.V. THERAPY COMES TO LASAIR!

IV therapy is the administration of vitamins, minerals, and amino acids directly into the bloodstream. These nutrients are naturally occurring in the body, and they are essential for normal body functions.

“Due to my previously undiagnosed liver disease, I would have days upon days that I was unable to eat, drink…even water. My body was rejecting anything Iʼd try. A friend of mine suggested I try IV therapy before spending the money and time to go to the Emergency Room during one of my spells. Within minutes of the IV being administered I could feel the life coming back into me... within an hour I was able to start sipping liquids, and by the evening I was able to eat light meals. Life changing!”

NAD IV THERAPY:
Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD)

NAD+ is a coenzyme involved in the energy production of all cells as it is a vital component of the Krebs cycle. This cycle takes place in the mitochondria of cells and is responsible for the conversion of glucose to ATP. ATP is the energy currency of the body.

The natural levels of NAD+ decrease with age. Synthesized from Vitamin B3, amino acids, tryptophan, and aspartate, NAD supplementation has been used in medical settings since 1960 when it was initially used for alcohol and drug withdrawal symptoms. Since then, patients have noted other benefits such as improved cognitive performance, sleep, energy, and well-being, as well as, reduced stress, anxiety, and migraines.

NAD+ is being studied in Parkinsonʼs and Alzheimerʼs.It has also been suggested that NAD+ can work as an anti-inflammatory and support healing at the cellular level. In simple terms, NAD+ is being used as a rejuvenating treatment for the cell.

B COMPLEX:
B1 Thiamine HCl | B2 Riboflavin | B6 Pyridoxine HCl | B3 Niacinamide | B5 Dexpanthenol

B1 or Thiamine is another critical component of overall energy and cell function. Thiamine can be found in everyday foods such as legumes and pork, however, it can be depleted by alcohol. Therefore, it can be beneficial to supplement with B-Complex IV infusion if you consume alcohol regularly. B2 or riboflavin is responsible for many functions in a healthy body ranging from the breakdown of fats, proteins and carbohydrates to adrenal function and stress reactions. B2 has been the focus of recent migraine studies as well.

MYERS COCKTAIL:

Myers cocktail is one of the most well-known IV treatment. It was originally developed by Dr. John Myers in the 1970s but has been altered since. Todayʼs Myers cocktail consists of a mixture of essential vitamins and nutrients including Ascorbic acid, dexpanthenol, Magnesium chloride, pyridoxine, thiamine, hydrochloride, calcium gluconate, hydroxocobalamin, niacinamide, and riboflavin.
