What is Silikon 1000?

Silikon 1000 is a type of injectable implant used for lip and facial augmentation. It is used for lip augmentation creating a fuller lip or pouty lips. Silikon 1000 is an FDA approved product used to treat a detached retina. Micro droplets of Silikon 1000 cause the body to produce new collagen. Absorption and or dislocation of the micro droplets are prevented by the encapsulation with collagen. This process increases the volume of the lips or redefines them.

Depending on the patient and the correction to be made, a second or third injection may be needed. Silikon 1000 is permanent, unlike collagen or hyaluronic fillers, which lasts three months to a year. The implant remains although your lips will continue to naturally age.
