Before & After Your Visit
Before your CoolSculpting treatment, avoid alcohol, aspirin, NSAIDs, fish oil, vitamin E, and other blood-thinning supplements as directed to help minimize bruising. Eat a full meal prior to your appointment and discuss any medications or medical concerns with your provider beforehand.
After treatment, temporary redness, bruising, tenderness, numbness, swelling, or soreness in the treated area may occur and typically improve gradually over time. Most patients return to normal activities immediately, though mild sensitivity or cramping may persist for several weeks. Maintain a healthy lifestyle to support your results, which will continue developing over the following months as the body naturally processes treated fat cells.
