Revive your Skin
In your youth, your skin defies gravity. With abundant collagen production, facial skin is tight, toned, and able to bounce back from a million smiles, squints, and laughs. As you age, collagen production decreases, resulting in drooping eyelids, sagging jowls, wrinkles, and fine lines. Fortunately, you don’t have to suffer these signs of aging that can make you feel self-conscious. You no longer have to undergo invasive surgery, or a long, painful recovery to correct them. Dr. Alexis Parker has proudly offered Thermage® at her Denver office since 2001. This cutting-edge treatment relies on radio frequency technology to give you the youthful, elastic skin you desire. Lasair Aesthetic Health offers the newest Comfort Tip™ technology and uses the “Total Tip”, for better results than ever before. Schedule a Consultation today
Thermage® treatment sends radio frequency to the deepest layers of your skin, resulting in the stimulation of existing collagen and promoting the growth of new collagen, giving you tighter layers of skin. The effects of this tightening are especially beneficial in fighting drooping eyelids and sagging jaw lines. Benefits of Thermage are not only limited to the face, many of our patients have experienced tighter, more firm skin on the neck, abdomen, buttocks, arms, and legs.
Treatment involves fast, successive intervals of cold and heat in order to give you optimal treatment while maintaining your comfort. Dr. Parker may give you medication to help reduce any discomfort. Immediately after treatment, you may notice that your skin feels tighter. However, your skin will show no redness or other signs of treatment, and you can return to normal activity immediately.
Most patients experience a lifting of skin and improved skin tone in the eight to sixteen weeks following treatment. The improvement will continue up to six months. The results are not as dramatic as those achieved with surgery, but Thermage® is a great way for patients experiencing signs of aging to tighten these features, or to preserve the effects of surgical treatments such as facelifts, with no downtime. Dr. Parker often recommends combining Thermage treatments with Fraxel, for even more impressive results. Many patients do this procedure every year to maintain youthful skin.
