All you need to know about Light Chemical Peels!

At Lasair Aesthetic Health of Denver, we are all about your skin.  We want you to have radiant, glowing skin that you are proud to show off to the world!  After all, if you can’t feel good about your face, what can you feel good about?  We offer several different types of chemical peels, and when you come in for a consultation, we can help you determine what would be best just for you.

Today, we are shedding the light on the light chemical peel.  A Light Peel exfoliates the superficial layers of your skin.  As this removes damaged and dead surface skill cells, the texture and color of your skin will improve.  At Lasair Aesthetic Health, we use Glycolic and Salicylic acid in our light peels, as both are beneficial in promoting cell turn over. We use 10% to 12% glycolic or salicylic acid in our light peels. We will often suggest combining a light peel with other treatments such as a microdermabrasion or dermaplane.

Skin treatments DenverHow often should I get a light peel?

Each client’s skin is different and unique.  That’s why our licensed and experienced staff will help you make this determination when you come in for a consultation.  Generally speaking, if you have oily and acne-prone skin, you may require treatment more often.  For other skin types, an initial 3-5 treatments followed by maintenance treatment may do the trick.

When will I see results?

So glad you asked.  Immediately!  If you are acne prone, continued treatments will be necessary to keep those pores clean.
