Fraxel
Fraxel laser treatments use pinpoint laser beams to “pixilate” your skin. The concept is similar to a digital camera that uses an array of dots (pixels) to construct a picture. Fraxel pixilation treats thousands of microscopic skin areas to stimulate the body’s natural healing process to replace old and damages skin. Your Lasair provider can target between 10 and 30 percent of your skin surface, leavingthe remainder of the untreated skin untouched to be used in the healing process.
Results can be dramatic. At Lasair, the Fraxel laser is used to treat wrinkles, acne scars, stretch marks, and sun damaged skin. Downtime is minimal and results are appreciated after two to three treatments. A minimum of three to four treatments are recommended for most patients. However, because collagen continues to improve over time, the results are even more dramatic after weeks and months. The treatments can be used with other Lasair procedures in combination, yielding compounded skin enhancements that can be very dramatic.
